Mauna Kea Beach Hotel among top resorts in Hawaii

The historic Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in South Kohala, which opened in 1965 and features 252 luxury guestrooms and suites, was recently named the No. 25 Hotel in Hawaii in Conde Nast Traveler’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards. The hotel has received a score of 80.78 in the category, marking the fifth year in a row Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has received this distinguished award honoring the top travel destinations and brands around the world as rated by its readers.

Every year, Conde Nast Traveler’s reader’s surveys reveal top travel destinations and brands in the U.S. and around the globe in its Readers’ Choice Awards. This year’s tabulation of results collates hundreds of thousands of ratings submissions, defining excellence in travel by rating their experiences and evaluating hotels on several criteria, including rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food, and value. The 2021 Reader’s Choice Awards will appear in the November 2021 issue of Conde Nast Traveler.
